An authentically fresh scent inspired by the imagined pristine environment of the temple of an oracle. Freshly washed with rain, the marble steps begin to glow in the first raw rays of the morning sun. The blowing softness of heliotrope blooms (a flower named for the way it turns to face the sun throughout the day) accent the top notes.

from buying their fragrances, i happen to know that goest has the ability to craft scents that are so. damn. accurate. to what they are supposed to smell like. however, the other night i was bragging about my new candle to my partner and i said "this is supposed to smell like rain and marble" and he was like, oh c'mon and kind of rolled his eyes. but when he smelt it and his whole face changed. he says it smells exactly like miami in a thunderstorm. he was blown away by the memories this scent conjured up in him, but that's exactly what goest does best. it smells good, but that's not what all this is about. it's about how it makes you feeeel.

Ok, I buy a ton of candles. Doesn't matter if they're from Target or Cire Trudon, I'm equal opportunity candle hoarder and I don't even want my accountant to know how deep this goes. I will say that it is really hard to find a candle that actually smells like what the notes say. For this candle, it's weird because the notes aren't really typical "things", other than the heliotrope (looks like that note is listed on the candle box itself but not on the website?). But it smells like it says. Really like real rain, and wet marble, and the outdoors. I've never smelled a candle like this, I've only smelled real smells (like out in the world) like this. Make a bigger size!

I also bought Galaxie, and that one touches my soul but this one is full of joy. I keep it in the kitchen so when I stand and drink my morning lemon and hot water I can enjoy it. I've had several people remark on my house smelling great when they enter the kitchen (right off the entrance). Already planning to buy these for gifts for a few of those people when the time comes.
