A candle named after a beloved mainstay character from the Japanese anime series "Trigun". Mischievous and enigmatic, Kuroneko Sama’s actions in the background or in between scenes often operate as a foil to the drama. In each episode, "Mr. Black Cat" makes a brief, comic cameo for fans to find. It reminds us of that other mystical, archetypal feline, the Cheshire Cat...
Notes: Incense, Agarwood Resin, Maple Sap, Nighttime Dew.
Aspects: Mischievous, Smoky, Sweet, Dark, Complex.
100ml Candle, by Volume
15 hours burn, more or less
Reusable ceramic lidded jar with hand-dyed, hand sewn wool pompom.

I have to preface this with that I don’t normally buy higher end candles, so this was a little splurge for me because I liked the fragrances and was feeling very adult. I received my candle in the mail today and it had melted into the tissue that it was wrapped in. I live in Nashville Tennessee so maybe August wasn’t the best time to order a candle by mail. Anyways, I was able to scoop some of the melted wax back into the vessel but alas not all of it. Beware if you live in a warm climate or are purchasing in summer!!

this candle is interesting. it's almost as if the "dark, serious" vibes are turned up aggressively as a counter to the maple-sugar vibes and it has a really unique impact because of it, there aren't many candles that go where this one does. also very strong, it scents a very large room when lit.

The maple note is very prominent, but so luxe and elegant, definitely not like waffles. Feels like sitting in a smoky cabin or temple with sap leaking out of the walls.
