Three touchpoints in the day in the life of a cowboy: the cool mineralic waters from a spring at dawn; the hot leather of the saddle at high noon; and the curling smoke of the campfire. This deeply naturalistic, subtle scent smells both indoor and outdoor at once. At its heart? Resinous, soul-filled laurel leaves crushed underfoot (or underhoof).

Wonderful scent but 3 wicks would be better

I don't know all the fancy candle terms but what I *can* say is that it smells so evocative and kind of sexy, even when I'm alone. The only thing that would make it a 5 instead of a 4 is if it had 3 wicks instead of just 1. It also tunneled during its first burn, and I burned it for 3 hours minimum.

I got this in 100ml (as a birthday gift!) and purchased a 400ml Pablo candle, and this one does more for me honestly. It's beguiling. It's also a bit stronger than Pablo and I guess I'm not a very subtle person.
So unique.

This candle throws no smell. At all. Laying on my bed, with the candle 1.5 ft from my head, I can smell nothing at all.

I love this candle, it smells like this special tarred string used on sailboats that I used to sniff a lot when I was a kid. My husband thought it smelled like a barn. So, I'm keeping it, but not in our shared bedroom. For reference, we both love Jackal and really dislike Realism. The candle itself is very attractive and would make a nice gift. I haven't lit it and probably won't, the smell is good as is.

this candle has a smoky, resinous quality I really like. it's not smoky like burning wood, but smoky like how certain plants in the desert california have this meditative, resinous smell when it rains. smoky might not even be the right word but I'm not sure what to call this quality. the pharmacy candle (with the green pom pom) and this one have a lot in common in terms of mood, but pharmacy is eastern hemisphere/japanese feeling, and this one is "western".

5 Stars for the scent but 4 because it is pretty weak compared to the other candles. But this scent is so nice. It makes my home feel like a makeshift structure. Like a wild outdoors feeling but very mellow.

well the listed scent notes aren't super helpful, since I feel like spring water doesn't have much of a smell, (I bought this one because I liked the red pompom) but after smelling the candle, the notes make sense since they're like a feeling instead of just things. the feeling of this candle is very meditative. it doesn't smell fake or sexy or like other candles, its just a lovely, semi-burned scent that I ended up liking a lot.
